Xbox Game Pass allows most of us to gain access to games that we might never have even thought about. If we enjoyed the game, it also allows us to support the developer even more by buying it for a discounted price so that we can keep it, even after it gets removed from Game Pass.
In a turn of events though, one game has not only been removed from Game Pass but from the Microsoft store as a whole.
Omori is an RPG created by a single developer, Omocat. The game description invites the player to explore a strange world that flips between the mundane, un-coloured real world and the vibrant and colourful dream world, where Omori is. It’s got massive praise over on Steam, but it’s been completely pulled from the Microsoft Store and it seems like the PlayStation Store as well.
The game was available for free on Game pass up until the 30th of June, but since then it’s gone missing.
(FYI) OMORI is NOT available to purchase on the Microsoft Store after the game left game pass on June 30th
According to @HoreWaist Xbox support said the developer OMOCAT is no longer a partner with Xbox

According to an Xbox support agent, this was due to the developer and Microsoft no longer being partners, but for it to be completely removed hints to something more. According to the replies on the Tweet where the removal was spotted, the partnership has ended due to an inappropriate, paedophilic, t-shirt design made by Omocat and the original artwork of Omori that featured some pornographic images.
Seems a bit strange though that the t-shirt design is around 10 years old and was removed from Omocats store back in 2014.
Either way, the game is now only available on Steam and Nintendo Switch as of the writing of this article.
