Did you ever want to play GTA while actually committing a little grand theft auto yourself? Well, now you can, thanks to Netflix Games.
GTA The Trilogy might not have scored very highly on its initial release back in 2021, but this set of classic GTA games will be the most popular games to hit the Netflix Games library since it became a thing.
Netflix Games allows you to play games on the go, like on your Android or iPhone, and perhaps these are the very platforms for which the Definitive Edition of the games that created the GTA blueprint, to begin with, were made.
The trio of games will be available, free for Netlifx subscribers, on the iOS Store, Android Play Store, or via the Netflix mobile app starting the 14th of December.
It’s not yet clarified if those who are not subscribed to Netflix can pick up the games for a specific price.
With the buggy, cartoony, almost “shoved-into-UE4-by-some-dumb-AI-bot” release the trilogy had, there are rumours that with this new mobile release, gamers will be seeing a visual update as well as a few patches to fix some of the issues, but we will have to wait for the actual release to see if there’s any truth to that, as Rockstar Games themselves have remained quiet on the matter—more than likely pretty busy on GTA6.
Will you be re-living the nostalgia of these classics? Or will this be the first time you’ll be living your Italian gangster dreams in GTA3? Let us know in the comments.
