If you don’t already know what Palworld is, it’s a game releasing into Early Access this Friday that is best described as Pokémon with guns.
But ahead of Friday’s launch, streamers have been enjoying the game on Twitch and judging from those Twitch numbers – this game is about to be a major hit.
On Wednesday morning, Palworld was pulling around 60,000 viewers. By this morning, it was sitting on par with Fortnite with 85,000 viewers.
Just popping into any of the streams will instantly show you just the way the game is pulling as many viewers as it is.
The developers clearly knew what they were doing. Almost every trailer dropped for the game depicted the pals, the game’s version of Pokemon, being put to work in factories, slaughtered for their meat, or going to war with machine guns.
Palwords is not your mom’s version of Pokémon, that’s for sure.

If that brutality wasn’t enough for you, Streamers have been discovering some of the other less-than-savoury but always amusing features included in the game.
Here is a streamer using his Pal’s butt as a grenade launcher:
And here is a streamer just casually capturing some humans and selling them:
From what we’ve seen so far, Palworld seems to be endlessly amusing, and it will be launching into early access this Friday after spending some time as the fifth-most wishlisted game on Steam.
Now we want to hear from you. Will you be diving into Palworld this weekend? Let us know in the comments.
