This Tuesday morning is going down a little easier thanks to Hades 2 finally releasing into early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. According to Supergiant Games, even in its early access state, the game is already ready to blow the original Hades out of the water:
Hades 2 in early access already has more environments, foes, and fully-voiced characters than the full version of the original Hades game. But it isn’t complete, and key areas, characters, foes, narrative events, and systems are still to come.
Supergiant Games’s idea going into the early access release was for the game to be far enough along that players could jump in and have a great experience, but not so far that it would be a hassle for Supergiant Games to act on feedback received.
The game has only been out for a few hours. Still, already the feedback we’ve seen has been pretty damn great, with many complimenting the new weapons, great soundtrack, boons and abilities. According to Supergiant Games, Hades 2 is planned to stay in early access until at least the end of the year, with the first significant update only expected to arrive in a couple of months.
