It’s a good day to be a sim racer. Corsair has just announced that they’ve entered into negotiations to acquire Endor AG, the parent company of the sim racing juggernaut Fanatec.
If this acquisition goes through, it will cement Corsair as a primary player in the world of sim racing, as Fanatec is widely considered one of the top premier brands in the world.

As of now, Fanatec offers a wide range of mid-to-high-end direct drive bases, wheels, pedals, shifters and cockpits. Talking about the acquisition, Andy Paul, CEO of Corsair had this to say:
Fanatec is an incredible brand with a strong community, and we believe Corsair is the ideal home for Fanatec’s loyal customers, employees and business partners.
This transaction would solve the company’s significant debt load and position the company for growth and continued product portfolio expansion.
No further details about this takeover are known, but hopefully, it will lead to brighter and better things for Fanatec and Corsair in the sim racing space.
