It’s Gamescom week. For those of you who don’t know, Gamescom is the epic video game expo held in Cologne, Germany. This is where all the best games are announced and discussed for a whole damn week.
Xbox has made some major announcements around their involvement in Gamescom this year, featuring four separate live streams across the event, so Game Pass, Microsoft, and Xbox owners will surely be drooling over the excitement.
However, it’s not just Xbox owners that should be excited. With five days’ worth of game announcements to be made, there’s definitely a little bit of something for everyone.
We’re expecting big announcements from games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, more Space Marine 2 news, Little Nightmares 3 and the new expansion DLC for Starfield, Shattered Space.
Opening night is usually one of the biggest events for the expo, and since we’re a little far from Germany down here in South Africa, we’ve got the livestream diarised in all our calendars.
Starting at 8 PM tomorrow night, on the 20th of August, Gamescom will kick off in epic style, like it usually does. Geoff Keighley will, of course, take the stage, but this year his co-host is Eefje Depoortere (Sjokz). For those of you who don’t know her, she’s a top host from the League of Legends scene.
With the following already confirmed for the opening show alone, we’re bound for a great week of game announcements that has the whole NAG office giggling in excitement:

We’re also expecting something from Okomotive, the studio behind the FAR series of games.
