The biggest Pokémon leak we’ve yet to see has hit the internet, and it’s so chock full of information that we might just get the perfect fan-made Pokémon game to play for around three weeks before Nintendo shuts it down.
Dubbed the Teraleak, the world has been graced with information from the Pokémon franchise, including the full source code of existing games, the development process of previous games and documents for future Gen 10 Pokémon games.
While some may already be digging through the source code of the older titles, hopefully creating something amazing – cough, Palworld, cough – the leak also gave us a bit of what to expect for two upcoming games. The already-announced Pokémon Legends Z-A, which was apparently supposed to launch this year, will feature Mega Zygarde and Mega Zerora and will only launch on the original Switch console.

Switch 2, or Project Ounce, as mentioned in the leak, will feature a Gen 10 Pokémon game codenamed Project Gaia. The game will involve multiple islands for players to explore, set in an archipelagic era.
For those who have been waiting for an official PokeMMO, there are also documents showing that one is being worked on, but nothing official enough for Game Freak to tease.
For those who prefer watching Pokémon to playing it, a lot of information has been released on upcoming series and movies in the franchise. A new Detective Pikachu movie is in the works, alongside a new anime series. However, most excitingly, a rebooted movie franchise focusing on Mew and the original 151 Pokémon, codenamed Project Bauer, is also in the works.
Game Freak has since acknowledged the leak and has promised to increase the security on their platforms, but it may be too little too late as we start seeing more and more information hit the web.
