ROG South Africa Announces Official Pre-Orders for ROG Ally Xbox Edition and ROG Ally X Xbox Edition

If you’ve been holding off picking up a handheld device in anticipation of the ROG Ally Xbox Edition, your time has finally come.

Ahead of the 16th of October official release date, pre-orders have opened for the ROG Ally Xbox Edition and the ROG Ally X Xbox Edition.

You can book your console now at the ASUS Estore, Makro, Computer Mania, Incredible, Game, Evetech, Amazon, and BT Games.

The standard ROG Ally Xbox Edition is priced at R12,999, while the more powerful ROG Ally X Xbox Edition will set you back R18,999.

Many gamers have been sitting on the edge of their seats for this new console as it provides some great hardware under the hood, that we have already seen proven with the ROG Ally console, but it comes with Xbox’s Gaming overlay.

An overlay that many of us are used to, from Game Pass on their PC to running Xbox consoles at home.

For anyone new to gaming worried about having to purchase games for the console on top of its price, both the Ally and the Ally X come with a three-month Game Pass subscription, giving you access to a massive library of games to choose from, and discount options for any game you end up loving.

As well as the Xbox overlay, because this is a Windows OS based device, gamers will also have access to other gaming platforms like Steam, Epic Games, GOG, and GeForce Now, to name a few.
