Warframe Ninja’s it’s Way on to iOS

As cellphone technology slowly catches up to the rest of our gaming devices, we’re seeing games other than Candy Crush make a mobile appearance.

Earlier in the year, Death Stranding was released for iOS, as well as Resident Evil Village. Now, iPhone users are getting the hugely successful MMORPG Warframe.

Explore the massive open worlds, wielding the techniques of your warframe, defeating enemies with ninja-like skill and manoeuvrability, and do it all on the Gautrain.

The iOS version of the game requires a device with at least an A12 chip, meaning 12th-generation iPhones and 8th-generation iPads and up. Cross-play and cross-progression are also included, meaning you can literally stop playing on your PC and carry on playing on your way to work.

The game will be released on the 21st of February for us here in South Africa, and players who log in during the game’s first week will receive a free day 1 award, including a 3-Day Affinity Booster and Bombyx Syandana.

If you’re an An-droid and not an Apple, worry not. While no launch date has been announced just yet, an Android version of the game is also in the works, and you can sign up here for all the latest updates from Digital Extremes.

Let us know if you’ll be picking up the mobile version and what your favourite frame is in the comments below.
