Enotria Faces Xbox Delays Thanks to Microsoft Support

Enotria: The Last Song is a souls-like RPG inspired by Italian folklore and its visually stunning nature. We caught a glimpse of it during Gamescom, where it showed off some of the gameplay and the unique chainable parries that the game contains.

While the game is set for launch on the 19th of September, apparently, its developers, Jyamma Games, have been facing similar issues to any local South African trying to get in touch with Telkom.

For the past two months, Jyamma Games has been unable to contact Microsoft Support regarding an issue with opening the Microsoft Store. While this sounds kind of silly, it means that the game cannot be launched on any Microsoft platforms, including the Xbox series of consoles.

Some initially thought that the game was being indefinitely delayed on Microsoft platforms due to an exclusivity deal, but it seems like it’s just a struggle between the two parties. The game has been tested and developed on both the Xbox Series S and X and is practically ready to launch, but due to the problem mentioned above, Jyamma Games is just unable to.

Anyone not using a Microsoft platform, however, can get excited about the game launching in two weeks, as the delay from Microsoft has not forced the team to pause the launch entirely. For now, Xbox owners will just have to wait for someone to give these guys a hand.
