Ever since Regardt told us all about Boom3D, I’ve been messing around with my audio setup, looking for something fresh to keep the music pumping in the office while I’m hard at work.
@nag.co.za If you are looking for a reliable way to improve your PCs sound and bring out the best audio fidelity in your music and games, the this app is a must. It’s called Boom3D.
Sound plays an integral role in our lives, whether we’re gaming away the nights, or stuck at the office listening to podcasts ,waiting for that lunch bell to ring.
So, for today’s Moola Monday, I thought I’d check out what headphones are on sale around the South African internet. Scoping out what looks like a sweet deal for anyone looking to pick up a new set of cans.

The Logitech G435 is an ultra-light, premium wireless headset from Logitech featuring Logitech’s Lightspeed technology and a virtual boom mic that sits outside of your face, just how I like it.
Coming in at only 165g and with memory foam earcups, the G435 is designed to be super comfortable, whether you’re knee deep in a swamp in Eldegarde or sitting at the local cafe taking your meetings.
It connects via a USB dongle or via Bluetooth for multi-device connection.
It features what Logitech are calling a virtual boom arm for your microphone, utilising dual beamforming mics to keep the microphone out of your face, while still keeping out the background noise.
With 40mm drivers, Dolby Atmos, Tempest 3D, and Windows Sonic compatibility, you’re destined to hear every sound. Even my expert ASMR videos.
This one on special is the stunning Blue and Raspberry colour, which just makes me feel like chewing gum.

Razer BlackShark V2 X Gaming Headset (Xbox)
Price: R1,199, marked down from R1,399
Get it here
Razer has been creating banger gaming headsets since as far back as I can remember, and the Blackshark range of headphones is no different.
While this may only be the V2, not the latest V3, sitting at around R1,000, that’s still a steal of a price for a headset of this calibre.
Packing 50mm Triforce drivers, 7.1 Dolby features, and a hyperclear cardioid mic, these babies were built to help you take down your enemies.
While these may be the Xbox version, because it’s a wired set, you can connect these up to any device with a 3.5mm audio jack, including a PlayStation controller.
Coming in that sleek white option on this sale, these are perfect for that crisp all-white setup you’re building.

ASUS ROG Delta Gaming Headset
Price: R2,049, marked down from R2,199
Get it here
If you’re an Asus fan, then you might’ve been eyeing the Asus ROG Delta Headset. A wired gaming headset, with that sleek, triangular ROG design.
It also packs 50mm drivers, but Asus calls them Essence drives, powered by neodymium magnets slotteed inside an airtight chamber to provide sound with more detail than ever before.
These bad boys pak a built-in DAC to improve frequencies across mids, lows and highs.
Of course, this means the headset is USB powered, but that also means they should work with any device that has a USB-C slot, which is pretty much anything these days. There’s also an included USB-A converter inside, should you be all out of C ports.
These are a bit heft, coming in at 387g, but with Asus’s tried and tested design, they should still be comfortable for hours of gaming.

So, if you’re on the hunt for something that sounds a little better than what you’re currently wearing, perhaps give one of these a look.
Who knows, you may just fall in love…
