That’s up from 10 million players about a month back, up from 2.5 million players two or three days before that, up from one million players the day before that, and totally not bad for a game nobody even knew existed until it launched on 4 February. And not that I’m keeping score, but it took Fortnite over three months to ding 50 million players.
To commemorate the occasion, Respawn has dropped a razzle-dazzle reel featuring some more impressive numbers – including over 1.2 billion ultimates! – and a lot of ludicrous plays from the game.
